Prolong the Life of Your Furnace With Regular Maintenance

You depend on your furnace to keep your home comfortable, and if you have any issues with it, you should call in your HVAC technician right away to fix it before it completely stops working. You should regularly change your filer about every two to three months. If you live in an area that is very dusty or if you live with pets you will need to change it more frequently. It can be helpful to write down a reminder on your calendar when it is time to change your filter so that you don’t forget. You’ll get to know how often you need to change it if you check it from time to time. You should also get your furnace regularly maintained. 

Your furnace technician will clean your furnace and inspect it to make sure that everything is running smoothly. Simply keeping your furnace clean will ensure that it will be much less likely to give you problems. You should never attempt to service or clean your furnace because not only is it dangerous but you may also void your warranty.
